This past friday Ricky appeared on TFI Friday. He was interviewed and he performed She Bangs. He also did a pre-record for Loaded which will be shown at a later time.
Ricky recorded An Audience With Ricky Martin for LWT yesterday. The show will be on TV around Christmas time. Lots of celebrities from Ian Clary to Ian Wright, and from Cat Deeley to the Honeyz turned up and Ricky performed the following songs (not necessarily in this order): The Cup of Life, Loaded, Come To Me, Maria, La Bomba, Por Arriba Por Abajo, Nobody Wants To Be Lonely, Private Emotions, Amor, She Bangs AND Livin' La Vida Loca as a duet with Kylie Minogue and a track of Les Miserable as a duet with a Tony Award winning singer. He changed clothes various times, answered lots of questions and everyone generally had an excellent time. Make sure to watch it once is on TV.
Both Ricky and the band are enjoying a few well-deserved days off this week.
Ricky will be live on Capital Radio tonight between 6pm and 7pm. Ring up and ask your questions to Ricky! Go to the Capital FM website to listen to the interview between 6-7pm (GMT).
Steve Wright announced that Ricky Martin will be on his show next Tuesday 28th Nov. That's BBC Radio 2 no specific time was given but the show airs between 2:00pm - 5:00 If you can't pick up the station you can listen on their website. BBC Radio 2
Radio2 on BBC Radio (England) auctioned a pair of Ricky's leather trousers for £3,500 for Children In Need last week! The person will receive the leather pants personally from Ricky during his stay in England.

Ricky will be shooting the video for Loaded in Los Angeles, CA - USA on 8 & 9 December.
Ricky is currently in Milan, Italy to promote both his single and album. Click here to listen to an interview Ricky has done with Italian Radio station DEEJAY earlier today.
Ricky will be leaving from Milan to Madrid on 21 November. On 22 November, he will do a promotions marathon which includes various radio interviews for major radio stations (40 Principales y Cadena 100), an internet promotion on www.plus.es. Finally, Ricky will be appearing at a Gala for Tele 5 (23 November at 22:00 Hrs.), with other stars such as Julio Iglesias, Jose Luis Perales, Alejandro Sanz and Chayanne.
Ricky's schedule until the end of the year consists of trips to Spain, England, USA, Latin America and Asia.
Ricky is artist of the day on the Billboard website: Billboard. There is a long and interesting article inside and a whole page ad on the back of the recent Billboard magazine.
There will be an interview with Ricky on RTL Exclusiv in Germany at 17:45 local time tomorrow.

Some interesting news about the EMA next Thursday. A large Aquarium is being flown over to Stockholm for Ricky's performance. He will be in there surrounded by 17 models. Ricky's performance is scheduled to be the last of the night!
Promotion for Italy has now been confirmed. Ricky will be appearing on: "Quelli che il calcio..." on Rai 3 on the 19th November at 14.00pm. His performance at La Piazza Del Duomo on the 20th November has also been confirmed and MTV is inviting fans along between 14.00pm and 16.00pm to meet Ricky.
Ricky will be opening the M6 Awards in France on 17th November and is receiving an Award of Honor on the evening.
Next Wednesday is Ricky Martin day on Dutch radio station Radio538. They will be playing songs from Sound Loaded all day. Every time you hear a song you have a change to win an autographed CD, DVD and poster. They will also air an interview that Dennis Ruyer recently had with Ricky during the show "Rinkeldekinkel".
Sonymusic Denmark and Yahoo are featuring a huge competition for Danish fans. The lucky winner gets to travel to see Ricky. The exact details of the prize have not been revealed yet. For more information go to the Yahoo Denmark website.
Dutch fans can watch the Letterman show on Fox8 at 23.30 on 16 November.
She Bangs reached the GOLD status in Sweden.
On the Terry Wogan breakfast show (BBC Radio Two) tomorrow morning (tuesday), they are having an auction to raise money for the children in need appeal. Ricky Martin has donated a pair of his trousers together with the chance to meet him next week.
Last weekend CD:UK announced a competition for UK fans to meet Ricky and to attend the taping of "An audience with..". Call 09069 111101 (calls cost 60p) to answer the question "What is the name of the new album".
She bangs is #1 in the Finnish charts. (Update 13/11 from tty71: this chart position was for a combined airplay and sales chart. On an official chart, which is sales only, She Bangs was not #1.)
Ricky will also be going to Germany this November. He will perform live at the final Big Brother show on the 18th.

RICKY MARTIN introduces a new half hour documentary on HIV/AIDS entitled Staying Alive 2 on MTV on December 1, World AIDS Day. Produced by MTV Europe in association with UNAIDS and the World Bank, Staying Alive 2 focusses on six young people from around the world infected or affected by HIV and AIDS. "AIDS continues to be a serious issue, and there is still a lot of work to be done to raise awareness around the world," Ricky Martin has stated. "I'm especially pleased to be involved with MTV's 'Staying Alive' since it relates accurate health messages and helps to eliminate the stigma associated with HIV and AIDS. I truly hope this documentary inspires people to take the necessary precautions as well as show compassion towards those affected by AIDS."
Staying Alive 2 will be broadcast on MTV UK & Ireland on December 1st at 1:00pm and 9:30pm.
Ricky is scheduled to attend the NRJ Music Awards in France at the end of January.
In November, Ricky will appear on French television in Hit Machine, Tapis Rouge and Dansez Maintenant (pre-recorded in September). Ricky will also be a guest in Le Grand soir and the National news. In addition, Ricky will be appearing at an event in "Les bains douches" sponsored by radio NRJ.
Ricky Martin will make his first ever club appearance for 800 fans to celebrate the release of his new CD Sound Loaded in New York on 13 November. Tickets for the event will be given away by MTV US.

Worldpop have discovered that 'N Sync and fellow American Ricky Martin are set to join more mature musicians including Bono, Lenny Kravitz, Phil Collins, Sting, Pete Townshend and Keith Richards to pay tribute to the Beatles in a new TV special about Liverpool's Fab Four. The two-hour special, made by ABC-TV in America, will air in the US on 17 November.
Ricky is in Dutch magazine 'Break Out' this week. And as a final note, SOUND LOADED is in stores in Finland already! If you live in Europe check your local stores to see if the CDs are in the racks.
A big promotional campaign for the new Album Sound Loaded is planned in Italy. Ricky's Italian Fanclub (RIC) is involved in the promotions. A special site about Ricky, sponsored by Sony, will be launched with news and contests. A few surprises are being planned, more details will follow later.
Ricky will be in Italy on 19 November to promote the album.
MTV Germany wil air the show MTV Masters with Ricky on 4 November from 17.00-18.00. The show is repeated the following Monday.
The official Sony Ricky Martin website has a new look to go with the release of Sound Loaded. The site lists 2 US versions of the CD. One features a version of She Bangs as the 16th track.
An Armani outfit worn by Ricky is on display in the celebrities gallery at the Guggenheim Museum in New York until january 2001.
