La Historia will be available in the UK on 12th March.
Certain music stores in Puerto Rico are giving you the chance to enter a competition to win one of only 30 tickets to see a showcase Ricky will be performing in Puerto Rico between April and June 2001. You are only allowed to enter the contest when you buy La Historia on the release date.
Tickets for Domenica In in Italy for Sunday are ONLY available in person tomorrow morning at the theatre in San Remo where the show is being taped.
Ricky will be appearing on the Staatsloterij in the Netherlands straight after the signing on 5th March. He will be performing She Bangs and Nobody Wants To Be Lonely.

Ricky will be in San Remo, Italy on Sunday the 4th as well. He will be a guest on "Domenica In..." from 14.00 till 17.00 on RAI 1, singing a medley of his songs.

Ricky has now been confirmed to visit Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 5th March (as reported earlier). Details of his promotional trip include a signing session at the Arena Boulevard in Amsterdam, across from the 'Media Markt'. Radio538 will be reporting live from the event between 14.00 and 16.00.
Even though the Best International Male at the Brits went to Eminem, dotmusic users actually voted for Ricky Martin.
After leaving Mexico, Ricky travelled to Miami, after which he will go to Canada, Tokyo, Berlin, London, Rio De Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, and Singapore among other places. He will also share the stage with Plácido Domingo in Los Angeles in the near future.

Worldpop reports that Ricky is in the final stages of negotiations about a role in the film 'The Asassination', starring alongside James Coburn and Anthony Quinn. The film is reported to be mostly in English. Ricky would contribute to the soundtrack of the movie.

The showing of "An Audience With Ricky Martin" in the UK did it's trick: Sound Loaded re-entered the charts at Number 14 and Ricky Martin'99 also re-entered at No. 62.
On the promotional trip through Europe in early March, Ricky will also visit Sweden this time (see the schedule for more information).

At the party, 1,000 lucky guests will also have the opportunity to see Ricky and his band perform songs from his new album. beginning Wednesday February 14, hundreds of fans from across Canada will have the chance to win tickets to Ricky's party. Sony Music Europe have now decided that "La Historia" will be released in Europe on March 5th.
According to the Heart FM interview Ricky will take a week off to go to India (-> hair cut!) this week.
Jay Leno's office have informed us that at this moment there is no confirmation for both Ricky and Christina to appear on the Tonight Show on 13th February. As soon as we hear something definite we'll let you know.
Ricky will be visiting Toronto, Canada towards the end of February 2001. He'll pre-record an interview with CHUM FM on 25th February (re-scheduled from 15th February) and will also do interviews for Much Music.
She Bangs was the Video of the Year (Pop) at the Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.

Ricky was in London today, appearing live on Heart FM radio. The transcript of the interview is posted on the Forum. He also pre-recorded various other interviews. The interview with Capital FM, recorded this morning, will air Thursday evening.
According to CapitalFM, Ricky may join Kylie Minogue in a rendition of 'If You Were With Me Now', which Kylie originally performed back in 1991 with Keith Washington. Ricky has actually denied this rumour in today's Heart FM interview.

Ricky has now been confirmed to appear together with Christina Aguilera on the Jay Leno Tonight Show on 13th February.
According to a new interview (press article) with Angelo Medina (Ricky's manager) there are no tour plans this year. However, participation in major US shows are planned for 2001.
(note from RMTEE: during an interview on 7/2 Ricky stated again that it was almost sure that he would be touring the UK this summer. That might mean there is going to be a European tour this year.)
The Greatest Hits album "LA HISTORIA" is expected to be released in Spain on 20th February 2001. The cover is actually RMTEE's front cover of Ricky facing with the back to the viewer.
The appearance on CHUM FM has been postponed until a later date, to be confirmed. The new date will be announced on air.
Good news for Dutch Ricky Martin fans. It has been confirmed by Sony NL that Ricky will be in the Netherlands on 5 March. Exact details have not been revealed, but there may be a signing session.

Ricky will not just be receiving the Goldene Kamera Award in Berlin tomorrow evening, he will also perform "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely". Ricky will be visiting the CHUM FM radio studios in Toronto, Canada for a live interview on 15th February.
The Echo Awards held in Germany on 15th March will be live televised on German TV Channel RTL from 9.15pm onwards. Make sure to tune in and watch Ricky's performance.
