The date of the radio release of Nobody wants to be lonely is January 9th.
Ricky mentioned in the Celebrity TV interview today (recorded before Jingle Balls event in New York a few days ago) that the duet for Nobody Wants To Be Lonely is a dance tune as opposed to the ballad on the album.
Sonymusic Italy reports that Nobody wants to be lonely will be released in Italy mid february.
MTV will follow Christina and Ricky filming the video for the duet for a new episode of Making the video to be shown on MTV US on 16 January.
VH1 (US) will show the episode of "Fanclub" with Ricky on 5 January.

It has been confirmed that Ricky will be attending the San Remo Festival in Italy in February next year.

Ricky and Christina Aguilera were both "locked up" in a studio yesterday to record the duet "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely". Ricky did NOT attend the CNN Show Larry King Live yesterday. At the moment there is no word if Larry King will be rescheduled at a later time. Christina missed an internet live chat due to the recordings running late.

As reported earlier by Sonymusic Germany, Sonymusic Latin now confirms that Ricky will record with Christina Aguilera:
"It's just been confirmed that Ricky Martin will be recording the song, "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" with international superstar, Christina Aguilera. This will be the second single from 'Sound Loaded' and Walter Afanasieff will produce the track.
In addition, Ricky will be recording next week "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" in Spanish. There will also be a new mix of the album version, both produced by Desmond Child.

Ricky will be on Dansez Maintenant (France 2) on 23/12.

Ricky won the VH-1 "Booty Shake" Award last night at the VH-1 Awards. The VH-1 Awards were fully voted for by the general public. Congratulations!
Ricky Martin will be appearing on GMTV, Monday 4th Dec and Tuesday 5th Dec, no specific time is given but the show airs 6:00am - 9:25am on ITV.

Ricky flew into town On Thursday, November 24th, and did several TV interviews - Celebrity, Planet Pop and GMTV ( which will be broadcast in 2 parts). He also recorded an 'Audience With...' for LWT which will air in Feb 2001. The show includes a duet with Francis Ruffelle on the Les Miserable track 'A Little Fall of Rain' and Kylie Minogue on 'Livin La Vida Loca'. Ricky also performed two tracks on TFI Friday which will air on seperate weeks.
