TWA is the Official Airline of the 2000 Ricky Martin Live Tour
ST. LOUIS, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Trans World Airlines, Inc. (Amex: TWA - news) has been named the Official Airline of the 2000 Ricky Martin Live Tour. TWA will be featured prominently during upcoming Ricky Martin performances, including his concerts this Valentine's Weekend (February 11th and 12th) at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The 2000 tour runs through July 14th. In addition to TWA being prominently displayed as the official tour airline, a TWA booth will also be located at selected concert sites, and an upcoming issue of TWA's inflight magazine, Ambassador, will feature Ricky Martin on the front cover. TWA will also feature the Ricky Martin tour on board TWA aircraft that are equipped with inflight entertainment systems using spot advertisements and video clips and music.

TWA is increasing service to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean this winter after having launched its first new focus city at San Juan on November 1st. TWA now offers 15 daily nonstop flights between San Juan and New York, Boston, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Santo Domingo and Aruba. This week TWA inaugurated nonstop service between New York's Newark Airport and Aguadilla on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico, and began service between New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and Aguadilla.

In addition, TWA's new commuter partner, Gulfstream International Airlines, launched Trans World Connection flights on November 15th between San Juan and St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. Kitts and St. Maarten, and will begin flights to Tortola and Virgin Gorda next week.
