2) Saturday July 3 there was a special on Ricky Martin from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
There were two interviews, one with Sonia Benezra who represented MusiMax,a french Music channel for Adults, and I'm afraid the name of the second interviewer was either not said or I have missed it. He was a yong man for MuchMusic, the English music station for the rest of Canada. during the 6 hour special we saw Ricky videoclips,interviews and bio capsels.

Ricky Martin 3) There was also a short reporting of Ricky Martin in the newspaper called "GLOBE" this mag is like any other Celebrity magazine, its full of lies. In this issue they were asking " Is Ricky Martin Gay" i'm afraid I no longer have this issue, but it basicly talked about Ricky's relation with a Gay friend who died recently and to the fact that Ricky had appeared on a Gay Magazine.

4) " COOL! " magazine(french magazine) -- On Craque pour RICKY MARTIN! Portrait d'une megastar.
Translation: We Go Crazy over Ricky Martin! Portrait of a Megastar.

Short Descripstion: It talks about the usual, From his Menudo days, to his return to music. And it has a "10 Secrets and facts on Ricky Martin" thing. To give a short description of each "fact and secret"

  1. He's been a star for a long time.
  2. There is a rumour that Ricky and Madona had a little affair, wich isnt making Ricky's GF, Rebecca de Alba, very happy.
  3. Ricky opened a restaurant called Casa Salsa, people say he often goes there.
  4. Back in his Menudo days there were rumours about kidnapping one of the members.
  5. Ricky had a fight with his dad.
  6. Menudo still exists today.
  7. this is how Ricky Martin found an idea for the song "Livin La Vida Loca"...
  8. Livin la vida loca is the most sold song in the history of Columbia CD.
  9. Ricky is presently studying the philosophy of Cathlocism.
  10. Ricky recently declined an offer to play a co-star with Jennifer Lopez on the T.V musical " West Side Story"

5) Adorable(french magazine)-- La Fievre Ricky Martin!
Translation - The ricky Martin Fever.

Short Description: There was a poster pin-up of Ricky Martin in this issue. It talks about Ricky Martins professional start, his hard times when he quit Menudo, his albums (when they came out, the names, what they mean) , his evolution to English music, what would he be if he wasn't a singer, how does he keep in shape, his spiritual meanings, and where he will be at the end of this Millennium.

6) 7 Jours le grand magazine -- La Vedette de l'heure se confie. Le Drame Familiam de Ricky Martin.
Translation: The Celebrity reveals. The Family Drama of Ricky Martin.
Date: July 10 1999

Short Description: Like the title says they talk about Ricky's Life with his Parents, and the seperation and the choice that he says "Destroyed my family" After that Sonia Benezra (who is a writer for this magazine) talks about her Interview with Ricky Martin, its a long 3 pages that talks about how Ricky is sensitive and shy to how he's proud of who he is and has a great fidelity to his people.
