Ricky will be the third act on stage at the Party at the Palace on monday 3 June. He will sing La copa de la vida. Then the English group Mis-Teeq will join him on stage halfway through Livin' la vida loca.
His performance will begin around 19:31 GMT. The show will be broadcast live on the BBC an various other channels around the world, so make sure to tune in on time!

Ricky's new English album will be released in November 2002. The Spanish album will follow a few months later.

Ricky travelled to India last week to visit several projects of the Sabera Foundation. It is reported that he was also in India in connection with a film (a documentary perhaps?). According to the press Ricky left India on Friday for a visit to Russia.

Interesting fact: The Sabera Foundation will have a big fundraiser on 10 October in New York. At the event a charity CD, featuring Ricky and several other artists will be presented to the public.


Ricky and Jose stated last week that they expected the English album to be released November (let's say: at the end of the year), followed by an album in Spanish a few months later.

This finally solves the this year (management) - next year (Sony Spain) confusion.

The Jubilee concert from 3 June 2002 in London will be released on DVD and VHS on 24th June.

RICKY MARTIN will be the only international artist invited to take part the three days International Conference for the peace, which is going to be celebrate in San Juan from August 12 to 14 organized by Puerto Rico senate and his president Antonio Faz Alzamora and the foundation Oscar Arias.In the event for the peace and developmen, His presentation will be on the topic "CREATORS OF ILLUSION " on Tuesday, August 13th.Ricky takes a participation as a panelist together with Jacobo Morales,Silverio Perez, Maneka Ghandi, Roberto Sabio, and the israelite Sara Otzaky, with the participation of Douglas Rushkoff as a moderator.

RickyFanForum administration met with Ricky’s management to deliver the 18th anniversary fan messages and to discuss the status of an official fanclub. The messages were delivered to Ricky by his management this weekend.


Ricky has finished recording the songs for his cd’s and is now in the post-production process (producing/mixing). The songs are not in the Shake Your Bon Bon/Livin La Vida Loca style. These cd’s will have a different introspective vibe.

The new cd in English should be out in November, with the Spanish cd approximately 4 months later.

A tour is being planned for the summer of 2003.

There is no official merchandise site at the moment, but one will be chosen in conjunction with the release of the new cd.

Ricky is taking piano lessons twice a week and is exploring as many aspects of music as possible.

Ricky plans to attend the Conference for International Peace and Development. This is to be held in San Juan from the 12th through the 14th of August 2002.

Ricky will be receiving a "Herencia Hispana" award on 20 september at the
John F. Kennedy Center in Washington. The show will be broadcast on tv on
12 October.

Ricky arrived yesterday night around 8pm in PR by private plane and will participate today and tomorow at the conference.

He was wearing casual & fashion clothes and went straight to his hotel where he stayed with his mother & father.

Management has confirmed that, as expected, Ricky will indeed be attending the Hispanic Heritage Awards on 20 September in Washington.
