Just a few main points of the interview :

- There is 2 albums being worked on, one Spanish, one English

- He has a part in writing every single one of the songs on the albums. After the earthquake in Afghansitan recently, he wrote a song called "Shape of a Prayer".

- He is learning to play the piano and is in fact composing the songs on the piano and when prodded by Leila he said that you may see him playing piano on his next tour.

Ricky will get a Humanitarian award today at the Billboard Awards.

The new coliseum in Puerto Rico could be called "Ricky Martin Coliseum".

The management told RMUFA that the album sould be released in Novembre (no dates scheduled) while Sony Music Spain said that it's gonna be postponed to 2003.

We were told by the president of AFRM that the Philippines concerts had to be postponed.
According to the promoter they're temporarily scheduled for August or September

The two following confirmations have been received from RM management:

-Ricky is confirmed to be performing on June 3rd at the pop concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen's Accession to the Throne. The star-studded concert at Buckingham Palace will be the heart of celebrations for the Queen's Golden Jubilee. This is the first time that the palace grounds will be open to the public for the free pop concert.

-Ricky will be the recipient of the Billboard Latin Humanitarian Award, the 'Spirit of Hope' Award, which honors an artist's extraordinary civic and humanitarian contributions. He will make an appearance at the Latin Billboard award show to accept his award on May 9th (To be broadcast on Telemundo Sunday May 12th). He will not be in the audience or perform.

The Golden Jubilee concert in London, England will be televised live on RTL2 (Germany) during the day. Switch on your TV for the "Royal Pop Party" on 3rd June 2002.

Ricky receives ALMA Award

At the ALMA awards on Saturday, Ricky Martin received the National Council of La Raza Vanguard Award. The awards took place at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will air on ABC, June 1, 8:00pm - 10:00 pm.

Radio France Inter will broadcast live from Buckingham Palace's garden the whole concert on the 3 of june. Starting at 8:30PM.

According to Nanette Lamboy, there is a good possibility that the release of one of the new album will be in Sept.
