A new biography has been made in Italy on Ricky Martin, from his birth to nowaday.

The publisher is Pagano, specialized in musical publishing industry, predominantly classical music. The RIC (Official Italian FC) has been chosen to collaborate to a section of the book, the one that talks about fans. Thoughts, reflections and motivations of the fans about their admiration for Ricky have been inserted. In addition, the RIC has worked in the book in the section dedicated to the relations between Ricky and Italy, (from its success in 1.996 to today) and his Italian public.

The RIC has also been able to write a chapter about the last two years , when all the biographies finishes on the last album. In this part they have been able to explain the deep inner transformation of Ricky, its search of spirituality, its beneficial persistence, the public participation of these two years, things that you already know but complelty unknown from the large public.

The book contains 176 pages with 32 photos in black and white, cover with Ricky in color. The book is in Italian . There are no official titles for either one of Ricky's new CDs. "Oh Baby" and "Hey Baby" are just rumored to be 2 of a long list of possible names.

At this time there is no official release date for either CD. All we know for certain is that BOTH albums (an English language and Spanish language album) are anticipated for 2003.

Mexican newspaper Reforma reports that:
"Still without any definite theme, but with the idea of making a convincing pair, the composer-performer, Ricardo Arjona already agreed to Ricky Martin that he will write a song for his next cd, which will be released internationally March 25, 2003."

The other CD (English) is reportedly planned for later on in the year:
"Also, Sony music New York, has big plans for its exclusive artist, since they also have plans to release another album in English at the end of next year or 2004."

We just got fresh news from Sony Music who received confirmed news from the management today!

The new spanish album will be launched in Mexico on March 31st.

The first single to be released will be " Tal Vez" written by Franco De Vita and will be released on Feb' 28th.

The album will be produced by Ricky himself and by Tommy Torres and will be sale as a digipack.

Juanes, Alejandro Sanz, Tommy Torres, Juan Luis Guerra have written songs on this album

There will also be duets with songwriters/singers (probably those above)

Sounds like the CD will come with a vcd that will contain an interview .

Today in the News of Santos (Argentina),they said that the international date of the launching of Ricky new spanish album will be on March 31,2003,in Mexico. Between the songwriters of this new album,we can find the names of Juan Luis Guerra,Juanes,Alejandro Sanz,Steffano (from the duet of singers Donato & Stefano) and Franco de Vita.

The first single of the album will be TAL VEZ written by Franco de Vita.

The shooting of the new video will be in Miami, and Ricky's got the schedule of the photo session for the new album,date that they didn't say.(From what RMTEE knows it could be in January)

After conquering the world and transforming himself into a mega international star, Ricky Martin returns to his sources recording a new and waited spanish album whom will see the light on the 31st
of March 2003.

Still, the definive songlists of this new album hasn't been revealed, we already know that there will be songs from famous songwriters like Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Sanz,Estefano, Juanes and Franco de Vita.

The producers of this new record will be Tommy Torres and Ricky himself, with the participation of Juan Luis Guerra, Estefano, Luis
Fernando Ochoa and Vicente Zambrano, among others.

First single is titled TAL VEZ and it's a beautiful ballad written by Franco De Vita, that promises to follow the successful way than the unforgettable hits "A Medio Vivir" and "Vuelve".

The video of this song will be filmed in the month of
February and the photos session for this new album will be done in Miami during the month of January by photographer Steven Kline.

The official presentation of the album will be made in the city of Mexico in March,where Ricky will perform live some of his new songs accompanied by several of the songwriters named above.

The possibility exists that Ricky will visit whole South America during the month of May to present in a personal way his new album in Spanish.

Even if there is not much more infos what we can say is that Ricky Martin will come back surprising us again with an incredible album in an international level, and completely in Spanish.

Angelo Medina reported to the Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia that before the worldwide release of the new album Ricky will taping video clips, doing plenty of interviews and he will be part of some special events. Promotional activities are set to start in January.

Starting in february 2004 a worldwide tour of around 100 dates is planned.

Ricky has not written any songs for the Spanish album. He has, however, penned some songs in English

As for any promotion etc. in South America (and beyond)... many plans have been and are being made, but nothing is set yet.

Composer and song-writer Nicolas Tovar stated that he has written 3 songs for Ricky's upcoming Spanish album: Jamás, Inquilino and Ya no estás aquí. In the past, he has also written songs for Carlos Ponce, Jon Secada and La India.

Ricky will be in Spain to promote his new sngle on march 24th, the single can be TAL VEZ writtent by Franco De Vita or BESOS DE FUEGO written by a colombian songwriter Juan Zambrano.
The producer of this new CD is George Noriega who produced the english part and Ricky recorded a duo with Jon Secada.
Tal Vez could be the first single in America.
On may 12th it will be the international launch of the new CD in Madrid and on may 14th the new Cd will be on sale.

Ok, so The single for Europe will be BESOS DE FUEGO (song to make you dance like Maria) and the single for Latin America will be TAL VEZ (slow song).

There will be 2 launching : one in Mexico for Latin America and the one in Madrid for Europe.
