According to the PR office of the German TV channel ZDF Ricky will be performing 2 - 3 songs in Berlin (Brandenburger Gate) on June 7, other artists include Nelly Furtado, A-HA, Pelé will be there and many, many other celebrities. Entrance is said to be free and the whole event will be aired live on TV from 9 p.m.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Ricky Martin Foundation (RMF) have signed a global cooperation agreement aimed at raising awareness of and combating the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children.

The global agreement will allow IOM and RMF to put in place joint projects to combat human trafficking all over the world, with special emphasis on children and minors.

Latin pop singer Ricky Martin is expected to headline a Sept. 9 premier of the Hallmark Channel's human trafficking documentary shot in Lee County last year.

Officials announced the gala today at a meeting of the Coalition Against Human Trafficking in Southwest Florida. The event will be at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Estero.

UNESCO and the Ricky Martin Foundation have launched a global initiative aimed at safeguarding children against exploitation and abuse. A Memorandum of Understanding committing the two partners to joint projects promoting human rights, poverty reduction and the social inclusion of children, was signed on 5 May in Paris.
